MISS GREAT LAKES
Miss Great Lakes 2016 is Melissa Smoker! Melissa is a senior at Purdue University in Lafayette pursuing Elementary Education and Theater. Her platform is “The Truth About Agriculture: Agriculture Education & 4-H” For talent, Melissa sang “Blue Clear Sky” and played the guitar as well. She was crowned alongside Miss South Bend 2016, Gina Klingel!
MISS GREAT LAKES’ OUTSTANDING TEEN
Miss Great Lakes’ Outstanding Teen 2016 is Taylor Lueking! Taylor is a Sophomore at Terre Haute South High School. Her platform is “Find the Link–Cure the Pink”, and she sang “This is Me” while playing the guitar for talent. She was crowned alongside Miss South Bend’s Outstanding Teen 2016, Anna Wicker!
