The pandemic took away so many things from so many people, and for us Miss Indiana was one of those things in the summer of 2020. Libbey finished her first year at St. Mary’s and Alyssa graduated a year early from high school (which we were SO proud of!). As we moved forward with preparing for Miss Indiana 2021 Alyssa was just finishing her freshman year at Indiana University and felt that competing for a teen title was not a good fit for her. We were saddened to not have a teen at state this year, but we completely supported her decision and made sure she knew that she would always be a member of the #TeamAnchor family.

Libbey, however, went into her first Miss Indiana week with high energy and big plans for her week. Although she did not place, we are so incredibly proud of her growth over the past year and for how she performed during Miss Indiana. We are soaking up our last 8ish weeks with her and can’t wait to cheer her on as she moves forward with pursuing a ticket back to Zionsville next June!
